‘I’ve heard while on many meanderings upon this Earth,
That there be some Charlatan’s who regard the noble beard as a curse.
I’ve stood, reflected and pondered this claim,
And I reached the conclusion that this statement should be cast to flame.
A beard is not only majestic, masculine and fills one with vigor,
But offers warmth and protection as your pride grows ever bigger.
Being a humble vagabond I find it commonplace to be told,
‘Clean up your appearance my son, lest you be cast out to the cold!’
My rebuttal is simple and swiftly applied,
‘The elements do not buckle me sir’ so I depart with a mighty stride.’
